Academy International Round-up | March 2025

This international break saw more than 15 Swansea City academy players represent their respective countries, here we take a look at how they fared.
Wales Under-17s
Kaven Bloniarczyk, Milo Robinson, Callum Jones, Thomas Wright, Carter Heywood and Alex Godfrey were all selected as part of Wales Under-17s' squad for their Uefa Under-17 Euro League B Round Two fixtures against Albania and Azerbaijan.
Bloniarczyk, Heywood and Godfrey started the opening fixture, a goalless draw against Azerbaijan. Godfrey, Wright and Robinson were named on the bench.
Godfrey, Robinson, Bloniarczyk, Heywood and Godfrey then all started the second fixture against Albania, where the young Dragons produced a second-half comeback to win 3-1, finishing the campaign top of Group B6. Wright was an unused substitute.
The seven League B winners will be promoted to League A for Round One of 2026-27 Under-19 Euro qualifying.
Wales Under-18s

Swans duo Iestyn Jones and Harlan Perry were both included in Craig Knight's under-18s' squad for their friendlies against Poland and Denmark in Mercia, Spain as preparations begin for their 2026 Uefa European Under-19 Finals, which will be held across stadiums in north Wales.
Jones started the opening fixture, a 1-0 victory over Poland, with Perry being introduced as a substitute in the second half.
Both scholars started the second and final game, a 4-2 defeat against Denmark. Jones was handed the captain's armband for this fixture.
Wales Under-19s

Sam Parker featured in all of Wales Under-19s' Uefa European Championship Elite Round fixtures in north Wales.
The young Dragons lost their first two fixtures against England and Portugal, but claimed a 3-1 victory in their final group clash against Turkey. Chris Gunter's side finished third in Group Seven.
Kit Margetson was also part of the training squad.
Wales Under-21s

Five Swansea City players were included in Matty Jones' Under-21s' squad for their friendly double-header against Andorra and Sweden in Spain.
Experienced Under-21s' players Evan Watts, Joel Cotterill, Cameron Congreve and Ben Lloyd were back in the squad whilst Sebastian Dabrowski and Dan Watts were handed their first call-ups for the age group.
Wales kicked off their camp with a 1-0 victory against Andorra. Evan Watts - who captained the side - , Dan Watts and Lloyd were named in the starting XI, whilst Congreve, Dabrowski and Cotterill were second-half substitutes.
The young Dragons played out a 1-1 draw against Sweden in their second fixture, with the whole Swans contingent featuring once more, as Cotterill - currently on at Swindon Town - captained the side.
Guyana

Under-21s' winger Maliq Cadogan received his second senior call-up for Guyana for their CONCACAF Gold Cup qualifiers.
The Golden Jaguars beat Guatemala for the first time in their history in their opening preliminary-round fixture, claiming a 3-2 win. Cadogan was introduced as a substitute in the 78th minute.
However, Guyana suffered defeat in the away leg against Guatemala, meaning they did not progress to the group stages. Cadogan was an unused substitute.
