Academy coaching workshop

Swansea City Academy is holding a coaching workshop on Wednesday, September 10 in a bid to improve the quality of coaching in the local area.
The club is hoping to provide regular opportunities for local coaches to observe and communicate with Academy staff in an attempt to build a closer working relationship for the betterment of player development.
The Academy is also working closely with the Welsh Football Trust and FAW to ensure that coaches also revalidate their existing qualification through attendance at these workshops.
The workshop will take place at the Swansea City Academy in Landore on Wednesday, September 10 and will include:
6-6.30pm - An introduction to Swansea Way Curriculum with David Adams (Head of Coaching)
6.30-8.00pm - Practical demonstrations of Swansea Way Curriculum - Foundation Phase (9-11 years) and Development Phase (12-16 ears)
8.00pm - Review and Q&A - disseminate resources.
