Tammy Abraham pointed to a change in shape as a key reason behind the Swans’ first home points of the season.
Paul Clement’s side beat Huddersfield Town 2-0 at the Liberty to end a run of three successive home defeats, with Abraham netting both goals.
And the striker, who took his tally for the season to five goals, felt Clement’s tactics proved spot on against the Terriers.
“We changed our formation to press them,” said the 20-year-old. “We believed in each other and we believed in the coaching and we gave a good performance out there.
“We know we are a good side. It was just a matter of time before we started to perform.
“We believe in each other. We had to show that on the pitch and keep fighting for a result and show we are a good team.”
