Meet the officials

Ben Toner is the man in the middle tonight.

It will be just the second time the man from Lancashire has refereed a Swans fixture, having previously had the whistle for a goalless draw at Huddersfield Town in November 2022.

So far this season he has taken charge of 14 games in all competitions, handing out 74 yellow cards and two red cards.

On Wednesday night, he will be assisted by Hugh Gilroy and Carl Fitch-Jackson, while Josh Smith will be the fourth official.

Welcome to Pride Park 🏟️

Good evening and welcome to Pride Park for Swansea City's Championship meeting with Derby County.

The Swans head to the home of the Rams on the back of heartbreaking last-gasp defeats to high-flying Burnley and Leeds United, feeling with some justification that their performances in those games should have yielded at least two draws.

Derby, meanwhile, have lost just one of their last eight Championship fixtures as they enjoy a solid start to life back in the second tier.

It promises to be an interesting tussle, so stay with us for all the build-up, action and reaction throughout the evening.
