Swansea City Under-21s extended their impressive winning record at the Swansea.com Stadium and made it four Professional Development League victories in a row as they defeated Bristol City.
The development side have now won all nine games they have played at the home of the Swans since the start of last season, and they took control here when Kyrell Wilson opened the scoring just after the 10-minute mark.
The Robins equalised through Ollie Thomas after the break, but a second goal from Wilson and a Charlie Veevers strike saw the Swans take all three points.
Anthony Wright had made two changes from the win at Peterborough United on Tuesday, with Cameron Congreve and Wilson replacing Veevers and Glory Nzingo, who both dropped to the bench.
The Swans dominated possession in the early stages, with the first chance falling to Joe Thomas who after some nice build-up. The full-back struck the ball from distance but his effort was straight at Jack Witchard.
But the Swans soon opened the scoring when Ben Lloyd won the ball high up the pitch and played a great ball through to Wilson, who produced a composed finish into the bottom corner.
The Swans kept up the pressure, with a cross reaching Maliq Cadogan, but his header drifted wide of the post.
Another chance fell to the Swans minutes later. Joel Cotteril’s free-kick rebounded off the Robins wall and fell to Congreve, who volleyed the ball from distance and forced Witchard into a good save.
Witchard was brought into action again when Congreve received the ball in the box and got away a left-footed shot that was heading inside the near post.
The Robins had barely threatened, and their first chance of the half fell to Tommy Backwell, but his strike was blocked.
The away side had their brightest spell of the half as the interval neared, with some good link-up play between Ben Acey and Marley Rose ending with the latter playing in a dangerous cross no Robins player could make contact with.
Rose put in another dangerous cross minutes later, with a good defensive effort from Kian Jenkins denying Raphael Araoye a sight of goal.
The Swans started the second half brightly, with Thomas driving upfield and playing in Wilson, however the striker was unable to work the ball out of his feet quick enough, and the Robins cleared their lines.
Thomas then had an attempt of his own, taking the ball down with his chest and sending an effort over the crossbar.
But the visitors were carrying more of a threat, and Evan Watts made a great save to deny Rose’s close-range flick.
But there was nothing he could so when Backwell picked out Thomas, who calmly sent the ball into the far corner.
The Swans almost responded instantly, Wilson volleying narrowly wide of the post after the keeper had spilled a cross.
But the striker made no mistake when fine build-up play between Thomas, Mitchell Bates and Congreve set him up to rifle home.
And The Swans added a third following a quick counter attack from a corner where Wilson raced in to the box and played a square ball to Veevers, who tapped the ball past the onrushing Witchard.
