A Maliq Cadogan hat-trick and a brace from Glory Nzingo finish got Swansea City Under-21s back to winning ways as they claimed an emphatic victory over Watford at Vicarage Road.
Cadogan and Nzingo produced a fine finish apiece in the opening half to send the Swans into the break two goals to the good.
Cadogan would go on to add two further goals and complete his hat-trick on the hour mark, with Irishman Nzingo then rounding off the scoring in stoppage time.
The visitors had Evan Watts, Ben Lloyd, Joel Cotterill and Cameron Congreve return to the starting line up following their international duties with Wales Under-21s.
Filip Lissah - fresh off signing a new long-term contract - also returned to skipper the side after recent involvement in the first-team set up.
The Swans dominated the opening stages, and they got their reward for a bright start by taking a fifth-minute lead.
Cadogan was played through by Seb Dabrowski, and he sent the balll round the keeper into the net.
Swansea were playing some lovely football, with Dabrowski and Congreve creating trouble down either flank for the hosts.
Another flowing attack saw the visitors work the ball quickly to Lloyd, whose close-range effort was denied and Nzingo’s follow-up was cleared away for a corner.
Cadogan then spurned a great opportunity when he headed just over at the far post.
The second goal soon came, however. Nzingo won possession - Dabrowski the provider again - in the middle of the field and was then sent in behind the defence to calmly steer in and double Swansea's lead.
Lloyd was next to go close, sending a low effort agonisingly wide, while Lissah and Cadogan were both denied from point-blank range as the Swans continue to have a stranglehold on proceedings.
They retained their two-goal lead at the break, and started the second period as they had the first, with Cadogan finding the net to further extend their lead.
A brilliant delivery from Charlie Veevers sent the striker on his way and he finished clinically.
Veevers was soon involved again, this time sending a dangerous delivery into the area, but James Clarridge cleared before Lloyd could get a foot to it.
Cadogan would then go on to bag his first hat-trick in a Swansea shirt with another accomplished finish after a long-range cross found him in his stride, finding the bottom corner.
The Swans were not done there, however, and Nzingo would add to their tally deep into stoppage time after a deflected pass fell for him to fire home.
