Josh Tymon | We want to carry on our good start
Josh Tymon hopes Swansea City can pick up where they left off and make it three wins in a row when they welcome Bristol City to SA1 on Sunday (3pm).
The Swans made it back-to-back Championship wins with victories over Norwich City and Coventry City.
And the 25-year-old defender, who's featured in every league game so far this season for the Welsh side, believes the Swans are in a good place ahead of the visit of the Robins.
"There’s a good feeling about the place. We’ve been working extremely hard through pre-season and the first six games and we’re starting to see the results," said Tymon.
"We’ve made a good start but it’s only a start and we have to carry that forward.
"I think we got criticised a lot last season about us players at the back being a bit too easy to play through, whereas this year I feel we have a real solid base. It’s not just us at the back, I think we press really well from the front too.
"I missed the home game against Bristol City here last season as I’d only signed the day before, but I was here to watch the game and the atmosphere was amazing from both sets of fans. The crowd will be right up for it, it should have all the makings for a good game."
Tymon has previously admitted it took time for him to find his form in Swansea colours. He believes he is hitting his stride at under head coach Luke Williams, but acknowledges there is plenty of improvement to come.
"I think it’s clear to see my form before the manager came in wasn’t as great as it should be," added the full-back.
"Since he’s come in I’ve just taken everything on board and the way he wants to play football just suits me down to a tee, I'm improving every day and the group are too.
"He’s top class, he’s brilliant with every player. The amount of detail he goes into, it is a dream to play in the system and I’m sure the other lads can back me up on that as well.
"But I know there is a lot more to come from me and the group."
